Villa Torii, The design of this house takes its cue from the iconic Japanese torii, creating a captivating fusion of tradition and contemporary aesthetics. A torii is a gateway to a sacred place. The house is composed of two distinct elements: a solid base materialised in green marble and a slender, elegant pergola-like structure. The base, which refers to the foundation, symbolises strength and stability, while the delicate canopy embodies ethereal beauty. Together, they form a balanced blend of tradition and contemporaneity, offering a serene and tranquil living space where light and shade play an important role. The ground floor contains the day area which connects to the large terrace platform suspended over the landscape. The lower level contains the night area and some extra spaces for leisure and wellness and a basement floor is destined for the garage, a multipurpose room and technical areas.
